Le lien moléculaire entre nous et les étoiles

The molecular link between human and star

Research published in 2024 shows that gravitational waves—vibrations that distort the very texture of spacetime and contribute to the structure of the universe—may have made human life possible. The fundamental elements that make up human beings, such as hydrogen, formed shortly after the Big Bang. Nuclear reactions in stars then produced carbon and oxygen. After being produced in the hearts of stars through thermonuclear fusion, these elements were dispersed throughout the universe by the massive explosions of supernovae.
